Isabel is a native of Melbourne Australia. Her father was born in Australia and her mother is Swiss. Her family lived in Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru a small mining town located in Cairns in the Northern Territory and Cairns Australia. Together with her sister Nina they went to schools that had kids of all races and different cultures. Isabel is currently living in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was engaged in drama from her school days. In 2002, her agent discovered that she had never appeared in a show before. She was auditioning for a role in Home and Away, 1988. Producers felt that she wasn't an ideal fit for the role. In 2008, Isabel relocated to Los Angeles. In the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009 was her debut major part. In the years since Isabel has starred in and been awarded in numerous US films and Australian productions.
